Pan Am’s Hawaii Clipper in 3D

Pan Am's Hawaii Clipper in 3D

Thanks everyone for all your warm notes on this project. The 3D M-130 Flying Boat is completed and here is the image. Please note that all the “filters” that are used to take it from cartoon to photo real have not been used and is pretty much raw. Given that, it looks pretty darn good to me so with a bit of “Hollywood” tweaks, this flying legend will be ready for the big screen sometime in the very near future. Speaking of the future, plans to return to Truk Lagoon in Micronesia have been firmed up and is now set for the late summer. This time, we will plan to finalize the slab survey, identify highly probable dig locations and conduct final ground radar scans to locate any remains of the passengers and crew of the Hawaii Clipper. Stay tuned!
