On this day, seventy eight years ago, flight 229 vanished into history. If you have been following this blog; you know the story and where we are in the effort to bring an answer to the many questions that still exist of how and why it disappeared.

Today we wish our continued sympathies and respect to the families of the missing passengers and crew that served them.  Today we also echo our resolve to bring closure to this long and enduring question:  “why”.
