For the very first time, Expedition V identified the most likely location of the fifteen missing passengers and crew of the vanished Pan Am Airways Hawaii Clipper flying boat, lost under extremely suspicious conditions. This has been a twenty-five-year-long effort by a committed team of volunteers and search dogs. It has paid off in many more ways than we could have imagined.
Our K9 partners uncovered several items indicating our research was correct in Micronesia. The next steps are forensic analysis.
This remarkable achievement is the culmination of a 25-year effort by a dedicated team of volunteers and search professionals. Working alongside K9 partners from Mark9 Search & Rescue from Dallas Texas, including handlers Mike Holmberg with Aspen and Zephrin Allen with Kao, the team conducted a groundbreaking search in Micronesia. Their efforts uncovered items that strongly align with historical research, marking a pivotal step forward in solving this mystery.
Zephrin Allen has been a dedicated Search and Rescue (SAR) professional since 2016. During his career, he has deployed two highly skilled SAR K-9s. His first K-9 partner, Kao, is a German Shepherd from Slovakian/Czech bloodlines, certified in Human Remains Detection.
In collaboration with Mark9 Search & Rescue from Dallas, Texas, led by Mike Holmberg and his exceptional search dog, Aspen, as well as Zephrin Allen and his partner, Kao, the team uncovered critical items in Micronesia that validate decades of meticulous research.

After twenty years of persistent research and four previous explorations to very remote jungle islands, Guy has applied expert skills of analysis to narrow the specific area believed to be the final resting place of the alleged rescuers.
